WOLF PLASTICS believes in partnership — especially in the field of research, development and innovation, because everything works better together. This is how a special kind of cooperation was created in close contact between producers, customers and supply partners, which led to a unique result: the “Rundeck” bucket, or rounded corner bucket.
Extreme increase in efficiency
The top priority in product development is efficiency in the use of space. Here one has the storage and transport space in mind, which should save logistics costs. The four-layer stackability of the new pack saves 25% (!) logistics costs.
Another condition is total robustness. After all, this container is essentiallly a bucket that is supposed to do its job day after day on construction sites.
Packaging and label should be made of one and the same material. The IML process creates a mono-packaging which is completely recycled and with which the longest possible service life of the raw materials can be guaranteed.
Production without interruption
Throughout the entire process, efficiency is always in the foreground. This means that there must be hardly any production interruptions. “We know that it is not easy for all our customers to make changes to their production lines”, says WOLF PLASTICS CEO Georg Hirsch. The seemingly impossible is achieved in close cooperation between customers, WOLF PLASTICS and suppliers, such as Verstraete IML, the specialist for in-mould labelling. The “Rundeck” bucket was born. By now it is available in 3 sizes. At present, new container sizes of 10 and 12 litres are being developed. The innovative “Rundeck” is of course also available as “R” in the recycling version.
